Montoya for one final episode as host of The World of Myth Bits, taking listeners on a heartfelt journey through more than two decades of creativity, friendship, and storytelling. Together, they revisit the history of The World of Myth Magazine, from its earliest issues to its remarkable 153rd installment, celebrating the writers, poets, and artists who helped shape its legacy. They share memories of beloved contributors, including Terry D. Scheerer, Rebecca Ilich, Gabriella Balcom, Steven Lester Carr, Dawn DeBraal, James Rumpel, Lisa H. Owens, and many others, while reflecting on the personal stories and friendships that made the magazine more than just a publication. Dave also shares touching memories of his late wife Lacie's contributions, the influence of Stephanie J. Bardy on the company's revival, and the importance of giving creative voices a place to be heard. As the conversation draws to a close, Dave surprises Tim by officially bestowing upon him the honorary title of Professor Tim Law, recognizing his years of dedication to the magazine and podcast. With Episode 400 still on the horizon, this bittersweet farewell celebrates not only the end of Tim's time behind the microphone but also the lasting community and friendships that will continue long after his final sign-off. |
