Internationally, the month of April is recognized as Autism Awareness Month, with April 2 of each year celebrated as Autism Day.
In 2025 the theme is Advancing Neurodiversity and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also referred to as the Global Goals. Although this is an international campaign, for the Montoya family the importance of Autism awareness hits closer to home.
