Michael Patricks is a hit-and-run author whose first published work can be found in Sex & Death, a 1989 mini-comic which led to further exploration of the horror genre in stories for Lacunae Magazine, several nefarious European slave-trade publications, and a tale published entirely in crop circle format. His death in 1993 in a bizarre cattle mutilation-related incident was greatly exaggerated. He continues to pen prose fiction, and is currently working on an anthology collecting the most nauseating of his short stories. No Kind Return, however, is not one of them.
