Maria Tonu

Maria Tonu (Oakville, Ontario) is a Moldovan born Canadian writer and anthologist. Her prose appears in a variety of journals and books in Canada, Moldova, Romania. She is the Ambassador of the Word conferred by the Côsar Egido Serrano Foundation and the Museum of Words (Spain) for short stories: Father and Fresh Rose, 2018. In 2020 she finished the novel The Basket with Diamonds.
