Joan Mach

Joan Mach is a 79-year-old retired librarian, taking courses in Creative Writing at the Teaneck, NJ Senior Center. She has been writing creatively for more than 60 years, but has been submitting stories and articles for publication only for the past five years.

Before she retired Joan, who has a BA Degree from Wheaton College (MA) and an MLS (Masters in Library Science) degree from Pratt Institute, was a reference librarian. She and her husband of 55+ years (Joseph Mach) have  lived in Teaneck, NJ, since 1974.  She is the mother of two sons, Jeffrey and Louis. Some of her work has appeared in Down in the Dirt Magazine.
