Insanity
By: Christopher Bice

Why do they hunt me what harm have I done? I stay to myself unless you invite me to come. If you don't want me then you should have stayed inside. I love hide and seek so best you run and hide. Pray that you win and I don't find you...there's no telling what I may do.
You call me crazy
But that can't be
I just crossed a line
And found the real me
A sinister thing inside
That was trapped
It clawed its way free
When my mind snapped
So it's my turn to run
And you'll never find me
I play hopscotch with the line
Between genius and insanity
For now this genius will run away. Maybe I'll come back someday to play. Until then hold dearly your children, your husband, your wife. If my insanity breaks free I'll end their life. But before I have to run away again. Let's play one more game... I'll count to ten.
