Raksha
By: Jacek Wilkos

Traveling through the savannas of the Savage Land we encountered a group of Raksha anthropoid tigers. Exposed fangs and protruding claws were signs we were not welcome here. We left the horses, trying not to make any sudden movements. I took on a fighting stance, clenching my fingers on the sword hilt, when I felt my companion's hand on my shoulder.
"A wise man once told me what their weakness is. Maybe we will get out without a fight." He pulled out a small device from his pouch, inserted a magical ruby and threw it forward.
We continued our journey avoiding a skirmish. After a while, I turned to see if we were already at a safe distance and laughed again. In the light of the setting sun, proud warriors were running around, chasing after the red dot emitted by the device.
