Will Titanfall 3 Ever Exist II
By: Kyke D. Dobbs

Hello, everyone. This month, let's take a look at Respawn Entertainment's multi-player, first person shooter, Titanfall. The year was 2012. I can recall looking in videogame magazines at this coming game that had no competition because it was an original in that it had its own sci-fi story unlike anything I had ever heard of. The closest thing to it was Star Wars because of its AT-AT (All Terrain Armored Transport) and their AT-ST (All Terrain Scout Transport), these walking suits of armor were more like something from an anime series because these were robotic suits of armor instead of walking tankssimilar to the armor suits of Macros, only these do not transform into aircraft.
The three selections of armor were to give you options on which tactics to use in combat: Ogre, the heavy armor; Atlas, the medium suit; and Stryder, the fast, yet lightly armored. Each suit had its pros and cons based on its capabilities in speed, fire power, durability, and counterstrikeyou had to learn how each was best used and which suits were suited for specific locations.
Pilot Loadouts
This game had gone to a different direction in having the characters wearing body armor that was equipped with a jet pack for having short lifts to higher placessimilar to Boba Fett's jet pack, but a limited range. This suit of armor brought a new dimension to fighting because it allowed you to climb to high locations, run across walls, and pull some awesome moves while fighting your opponents.
What gave you the greatest freedom was your selection of firearms for your primary weapons, your secondary weapons, and your anti-titan weapons. Your primary weapons included: the R-101 Carbine, the R-97 Subcompact Submachine Gun, the Smart Pistol MK5, the EVA-8 Shotgun, the Longbow-DMR Sniper Rifle, the C.A.R. SMG submachine gun, the G2A4 Rifle, the Hemlock BF-R assault rifle, the Krabr-AP Sniper rifle, and the Spitfire LMG long range machine gun. The Sidearms included: the B3 Wingman, the Hammond P2011, and the RE-45 Auto pistol. The Anti-Titan weapons included: the Sidewinder, the Charge Rifle, the Archer Heavy Rocket, and the Mag Launcher.
These variations in choices of weapons brought a new dimension to how a game could be played based on how you chose to play as a teammate in giving you options on playing as a sniper, a machine gunner, or simply as an infantry-man with assault rifles or submachine guns.
The Second Game
Let's jump ahead to October 28, 2016, when Respawn Entertainment released Titanfall 2. The game had the same layout and story, however, it brought new Titans to fight with along with changes in the primary and secondary weapons as well as the anti-Titan weapons. This game started off with different layouts for levels, but, in time, it brought back some of the levels from the original game.
New Titans
In this game, the Titans have come a long way from the original three of the first game. These Titans are: the Scorch (a flame thrower Titan), the Monarch (a Titan of previous Titans that have been merged to build one), the Legion (a slow, but powerful Titan armed with a hand held gatling-gun and a force field for shielding), the Northstar (a Titan that can fly above one's opponents and fire a plasma rifle), the Ronin (a fast running Titan armed with a shotgun for close range combat), the Ion (armed with the Splitter Rifle, this is a medium Titan in that it can withstand hits reasonably), and finally the Tone (the most popular Titan by players for its durability and reliability in medium to long range fights).
New Weapons
Like the Titans, this game delivered new weapons for fighting your opponents as well as their Titans. In keeping a number of the original weapons, it brought a number of new ones, too. The new primary weapons included: the G2A5 rifle, the V-47 Flatline (a bullpup version of the AK-47), the R-201 Carbine. Having been so long since I last played the original Titanfall on my PC, it is hard to list all of the new weapons for the second game, so I am sure I have left out a few guns that were new for the sequel.
Where does this lead us in having the third edition?
Having two games as a guide as to what's left for the third game, many of us have our minds loaded with all kinds of ways this third game might be coming out. As we have seen in the sequel, levels from the original were brought to bring additional layouts for combatwhich means we might have levels from the first or second, even both, added to give the players familiar turfs to battle in. I am sure we are likely to be getting a level that takes place at night time to deliver something different, perhaps in a jungle; if this is done, I am sure we are probable to be equipped with lights or infrared sight to see our opponents, perhaps even vision similar to the movie Predator that will allow us to see our opponents in the distance through whatever they might be hiding in.
What about changes in Titans?
The thought of changes in the Titans has been on my mind because we all know there are other directions these machines can go in delivering improvements. For example, let's assume we have a Titan that is capable of fading into the backgroundsimilar to the Cloak camouflagethat will give us an opportunity to sneak up and deliver an attack. Now, if this is done, I'm sure it will be given to us with a time limit.
What if they deliver a drone as an option to attack from multiple places. This would be similar to allowing the Titans to follow you while you are outside of the cockpit, only you will have a flying drone to either spy on your surroundings, or possibly have it make attacks. If it is armed, I am sure it will be equipped with similar weapons as the turrets on the Pilot Sentry or the Titan Sentry; this drone could be either an all-out anti-person or anti-Titan, or even equipped for all possible targets.
The possibilities are endless in having our Titans exceed what we have seen so far.
Enjoy your current games and keep hope that this third one will be sometime this year.
Take care, everyone.
