Welcome to our very first issue of 2021! Within the first few weeks of the new year, it seems rather identical to 2020 thus far, but if anything, I will always remain optimistic for better years. While things may seem the same so far, things are changing with The JayZoMon/Dark Myth Company!

This is most likely be the final issue we present to you on the Yahoo! Webhosting Service, as we will be moving to a new platform. While I will publicly say that the company offers excellent prices, the services that we now find ourselves needing are not supported.

I have had a relationship with Yahoo! Inc. since 2000 and, for the last twenty-one years, have used their tools to create various websites from back in the day of Geocites to a paid hosting program. It is not a decision that I took lightly, as we have held many issues and memories on this server.

But like the 2021 year, it is time to make a better now, and that is just one thing that is happening. Another thing that will be shortly going into effect is that we now have a Board of Directors for The JayZoMon/Dark Myth Company. I have extended the invitation to the six people I trust my company with. They will be my eyes are ears as I am away from the computer days at a time. Once the agreement to be the directors are signed, I will announce the members of the board.

Also, as of this writing, a job offer to be our Production Coordinator has been placed. As our products continue to grow (especially for 2021), we need someone to make sure that said productions happen without any problems and meet their deadlines. We can have them out to you and our distributor when we say we will.

Much like with the Board of Directors, once the contract is signed, we will publicly announce this person who will be taking this job.

Another change you will see will be here in the pages of The World of Myth Magazine is with our own movie reviewer, Moviegoer Grim, as he has decided to retire once again. Grim has delivered thirty reviews, and he feels he has reached his endgame. While he promises that he will always be willing to pop in to cover someone, he can no longer watch movies regularly. I reached out to the co-host of The World of Myth Bits Podcast, Jenna Sparks, and she has agreed to be our new resident movie reviewer—welcome aboard!

As I close this month, I want to leave you with this. Some of you may know by now, I have re-entered the workforce working for a local hospital. It has really opened my eyes about things, but not for the negative. Rather I am hopeful for humanity and the direction we are heading as a whole. Despite what you read or see on television, we are a species that are instinctively kind and caring. The greater good will prevail, and life will continue—in time, this will all be remembered only in the history books.

With all of that said, remember to be kind and smile at a stranger (even with a mask on) and watch how it brightens them up.

Take care of yourself and each other!

With respect to you all!
