The Toy Store Santa

Dave began his Christmas Day shift at Toys4U, expecting to see no one all day.

It was a shock then to discover Mac the store Santa, still sitting on his throne.

"Go home, Mac!" Dave yelled as he passed by, fairly certain he heard a grunt in reply.

By the next day, Mac had started smelling. The kids didn't care, though; they loved the fact Santa was there for them to thank. It mattered little that he seemed so sleepy. A hug followed. "Thanks Santa."

As Mac's lifeless eyes snapped open, one stiff finger began to twitch. Santa was hungry…
