The Colour Blue
By: Christopher Bice

The sky is a dark blue-black hue
Perfect colors for me but not you
The colors of the wrath inside of me
Madness trying desperately to break free

The colors of death; of a tormented soul
Of a man's feelings buried deep in a hole
Dark as the heart beating inside the man
A burning soul of one of the damned

Blue is the color of grief and pain
Of a man driven totally insane
In the darkness under the blue moon
Two young lovers beginning to swoon

Undercover of darkness this black night
The two young lovers tried, but lost the fight
Howling now from grief and pain
The damned, now fully insane

Later under the same blue black sky
The ill fated man was cursed to die
Taking his life with the blade from a knife
The same one that butchered a cheating wife.
