Ghastly greetings Mythkateers!!! Here we are! Our October issue! Halloween may not be the same this year, you may be stuck, (as I am in our region) at home, or choose to stay home, but you don't have to do it unentertained!! We have a jam-packed issue filled with all sorts of horror and mayhem. First off, congratulations to Boryanna Ananieva on winning Member of the Month for her artwork. Congratulations to our Grand Prize winner in our Open Contract Challenge. I'm not going to steal Dave's thunder so if you want to know, go read his commentary! LOL!! If you've been listening along and playing the spin the wheel of "What crisis is Lupa facing this week" game on Lupa's Bits The Podcast, you know that this has been a bad month for me. I am doing much better and want to say thank you for the outpouring of love and support that I have received. I don't share my personal struggles for sympathy or attention. I do it so that people know they aren't alone. If I reach one person, touch one person, then it's worth putting my pain out there. Thank you. October is a month of change. The tree leaves change colors and fall, the temperature changes, and we begin to prepare for winter. How ever that is going to look like this year, make it the best you can. When I was younger, October was my favorite month. It still is, but for different reasons. Back then, I would research different cultures and see what they did for Halloween. It was rather fascinating. Now it is more of a spiritual journey. In more ways than one!! I won't go into detail here, but you can listen to it on my podcast (yes that was another shameless plug). I guess what I am trying to say, is have a safe and wonderful Halloween. Whatever you make that look like. Go to a drive thru light display, host a Zoom murder mystery party, or play hide and seek in the dark at home. Since our usual activities have been limited or restricted completely, we have to get creative. And we are creative, aren't we? As I close out this months intro, I want to send out a huge thank you to Jayden Montoya for saving our website above and beyond what our service provider couldn't do. He is our hero!!!!
