Welcome to July's issue of The World of Myth, while we are coming out a bit early this month we still have it cram pack full of stuff. I apologize to the Myth Master and Michael A. Arnold for not telling you that I was going on vacation and thus decided to release this issue two weeks early. The big thing for me will happen this Monday, July 13th, as I take my family on a road trip across America to visit my Dad and my best friend, Alan Russo in the state of Arkansas. It has been twenty years since I saw my dad in person and five with Russo. Another thing is that this will be the first vacation, since my wife Lacie died back in 2015. We were actually on vacation when she passed, but I feel that it is time. Time for a new journey and time to write a new chapter in our family's lives. So, I will not have a computer and, believe it or not, there are some places there that still do not have internet. So in the coming two weeks, I will not be working on anything, nor writing anything. Instead I will be traveling from California and will stop in Arizona, and I am most excited to be stopping in Montoya, New Mexico. While it is basically a ghost town now, and I have been there back in 2000, it will be the first time for all three of my children. Growing up, I was always told that my family were royalty in Spain, but I guess not very good ones. They were chased from the country and ended up in a place that would later become New Mexico, where they pitched a tent and named it the town of Montoya. Another side note away from the forthcoming vacation, I will be focusing more on my writing once I get back into California. While I have finished a ghostwriting gig (which I will have a banner for when it comes out), my personal projects have suffered greatly. Through the Eyes of Madness was intended to be finished by now and The Missing Unicorn in the Land of the Zombie Fairies has been postponed a few times now. I am a writer first and foremost, and I feel it calling me and I will focus more on that in the coming future. If you have not heard yet, the purchase of ZombieWorks Publications is final and we are already working on a Werewolf Anthology called, Full Moon & Howlin'. This is a paying gig, and we are offering a one hundred book pay advancewhich means, we will pay you your royalties for a hundred books upfront. If anyone who is interested in the project, can visit there website at: www.zombieworks.us. As we close, I would like to congratulate the final five contestants in the Open Contract Challenge, I can not believe that we are already speeding toward the end of year two! Who are they? You'll have to tune in Monday on The World of Myth Bits Podcast and find out who will move into the Semifinals! All right gang, I need to finish packing and I will see all of you back here on August 24th. With respect to you all!
