The tree's are budding, the flowers are sprouting, noses are dripping and the sneezes echo through the empty streets. It's Spring!!! YAY!! Allergies aside, and the fact that if I cough in public I am looked at like a pariah, I am happy to finally see some warm weather. It makes my mood better. I can get outside in the back yard and play in the dirt! With the Spring, comes the great purge. I think it also has a lot to do with spending so much time in this house and looking around. I have been watching way to much HGTV! So many ideas! Watching the Food Network has been a good thing though, I am actually cooking…seriously…life needs to restart… Which brings me to my next musing, when the world reopens for business, is it going to be business as usual? Have we learned anything in our time out of the natural world? Do we appreciate the fresh air and the flowers a little more? I know I do. The sounds I hear when there is no traffic to drown it out. The clear of the sky close to the city. The stars at night seem a bit brighter, the green of the new leaves a bit brighter, which is almost impossible because they are a neon green to begin with! I hope that all this time has given everyone a moment to reflect on how we want to re-emerge into the world. I have noticed that for the most part, people have become nicer. They are more apt to stop and talk in the parking lot, make a joke, have a laugh share a wave or a smile. Life before wasn't so. It was fast, and grumpy and irritated and if you didn't get out of the way you got run over. I am waxing poetic this intro, so I will stop and save that for my podcasts. OH! Did I say podcasts? Maaaaybeee I did. We shall see won't we?
