Welcome to our final issue before our big Anniversary Issue in September! This month brings a lot of changes. The first being how I do my monthly intro. I feel repetitive when I go over each story here, then again in the podcast, so, I have decided that my review of each story is much better suited for the podcast. I can't convey my excitement and say all I want to say about each story, each poem, and each piece of amazing artwork here in the intro. I can on the podcast. So, my personal review will be moving to the podcast each month, starting with this issue. Now, as you know, I am open to suggestions, so if you would like to see it appear in both places, then by all means say so! We are here to bring you the best possible magazine we can, and your opinion matters! We support writers, not just the writing. I would like to congratulation Walter Giersbach and his story Marty was a Jewel for winning Member of the Month! Newcomer, Alonzo Ross, is the artist behind our amazing cover, congratulations!! Also, our Featured Article this month is Meagan Hamilton's story Dr. Spiro. Now don't get me wrong, this issue is packed with amazing stories, incredible artwork, one I am particularly partial too, and poetry that will invoke an emotion in you. We have reviews and of course our Founder's commentary which I highly recommend you read. Each month we welcome new writer's to The World of Myth Family and this month is no different! Steven Bruce, Darnell Cureton, Welkin Siskin, Meagan Hamilton and John David Hanna, welcome to the family! It makes me smile, really it does, that we have our returning writers every month, who always bring their amazing talent, and that we also have new writer's to introduce to the family. Since I took over in January, I have made some wonderful friends, read some amazing things, and looked at some amazing artwork. In all of that, I have had a wonderful time, and I can't thank you all enough for being patient with me those first few months while I figured out what the heck I was doing! Which, as I leave this position, I'm still not quite sure I have the hang of it, but we have had a stellar issue every month, so I must be doing something right! That and we have amazing talent, so thank you to all our contributors for making me look good!! I hope you are as kind and as understanding with the next Managing Editor. Yes, you read that right, as of September there will be a new Managing Editor. Now, read David K. Montoya's commentary to find out why! LOL! I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I did. I know I say this all the time, but this really is a great issue. Thank you all again until next time Stephanie J Bardy
