Hey my Darlings!! Spring is here! YAY! Tree's are blooming, pollen is floating, sun is shining sort of. It's still kind of cold where I live, but I am a hearty Canadian! I can take it! Speaking of heart's, (see what I did there?) I can't express enough, how much the outpouring of good wishes and kind words meant to me, even though I do own David K Montoya the evil death glare for posting such a picture! His time will come. I am patient. Anyway, thank you so very much, each and every one, online, in private message, and in email, meant the world to me. Congratulations to DC Diamondopoulous for winning Member of the Month with her story The Creep Factor! Also, congratulations to Boryana Ananieva for being our cover art this month. We have so much for you! I can't wait for you to dive in! I want to say welcome to all our newcomer's! Glad to have you as part of The World of Myth family! Let's start with Fantasy, and newbie Jason Nadler's A Goat and Ten Coins of Silver. This is a great read and exactly what a fantasy story is all about! Also another newcomer, Ximena Escobar treats us to her adaptation of Pygmalion, with her story Pi. A word of warning, it is Adult Content, but so worth the read! If you have read Pygmalion, you will totally enjoy this one, and if you haven't you will want too! Michael A. Arnold is back with his tale There is No Trace of Numund Anymore, and, as tough as I portray, I did shed a tear on this one. David K Montoya is back with another chapter of The Missing Unicorn and the Zombie Faeries. This one may be for the kiddie's but as a grown woman (but a kid at heart), I am loving this. We also have Jeff R Young's first part of The Rising. I am looking forward to reading the entire story, this is another pure fantasy and it is great! Mark Kodama gives is a historical fantasy called The Ghost of Custer, and I found it not only informative, as I don't know much about American history, but it ticked all my paranormal boxes as well! Heading into Action/Suspense we have newcomer Patric Quinn with his tale My Name is Bennet Bennett. This one is a good read and will leave you wanting more! Walter Giersbach is back with Where has the Little Girl Gone, and will leave you weepy, and fulfilled. Which is an odd combination and quite a feat to pull off with a short story! It speaks greatly to loss, especially loss of a loved one. To finish out this section David K Montoya is back with another installment of Through the Eyes of Madness and I promise you, that you don't want to miss this one! Let's pop over to Horror and grab our favorite pillows to hide behind, that's what I do! Bruce Rowe takes on a mind thriller in his tale Moth. Tom Fowler introduces us to part one of Rude Awakenings, and I can honestly say, it gave me chills! Leaving Horror and heading into Sci-fi we have the second and final part to Rocco Mathias in But the Chicken by Walter Esselman, and I really want to know how he comes up with this stuff? Honestly?? I have a great respect for anyone who can write Sci-fi and keep my attention and this surely does! Tom Fowler does double duty as he gives us his second piece of Mr. Smith and Steve Carr does not disappoint either with his tale Sanctus Virgo, which, kept me up the night I read it! Over in Humor first time contributor, Harry Rodiguez tells a tale of sex, no sex, and green beans, with a fairly lengthy Priest in No Prima Nocta Here. Poetry is a real treat for you this month with Kevin Adams and Depression, Christopher Bice and I am Merlin, Kevin Magnus and More Ghost Stories of the 1800's, Randolph Lofgren and Delighted is this Man, Mark Kodama's next installment in The Prince of Mexico City, David K Montoya's piece to his son, Proud of You, and Susanne Thomas with her final installment in the Thorne series called Dragon Scales. Last but not least, my contribution We are Women. The Art section has some beautiful pieces to see, and if you take a peek you may find my artist tribute. The Movie Reviews with Jason Bechard, our resident movie reviewer treats us to some new titles. I can say I'm a little in shock, I assumed Kevin Magnus lived in a dark cold cave, but it appears he has electricity and treats us to something lighter in the form of our Video Game Review! Luna Lupine returns for another book review and I have to say, as much as I love her usual style, this serious down to business approach worked for the series and book she was reviewing. One of my favorites by the way! The Myth Master is at it again with another entertaining but informative interview, make sure you give that a read and a listen to his podcast! Don't forget to stop by and read our Founder's Commentary and see what is happening behind the scenes. He has some exciting things brewing! Thank you everyone for coming back again this month and welcome to all our new comers. I hope you enjoy what we have put together for you and until next month, or until my next podcast where I will go over all things Myth Magazine and give you my thoughts in a bit more detail than space allows here, I hope you all have a wonderful May and keep those submissions coming! C ya!
