Hello my darlings. It has been a tough month for me, again. As I write this, I am at a loss to find the jovial attitude I always have when I get to write my intro to this month's magazine. I apologize for that. I will say that this issue is packed with amazing stories, poetry and art work. All of which has kept me entertained, and distracted in my moments of grief. Something that I wanted to mention, and while it may not be overly noticeable, this is our Autism Awareness issue, as April is Autism Awareness Month. We have newcomer's and some blasts from the past. Susanne Thomas gives us part 2 of Thorne with Cyclops Lair, Jason Bechard treats us to his unbiased opinion of his latest movie choices Bodied and Anna and the Apocalypse. Who knew he liked musicals? Alan Russo resurrects the Protector series for one final installment, Steve Carr takes us on an eerie journey with Clean to the Bone. Kevin Magnus delves into the torment with Ghost stories of the 1800's, and Lallie Napier joins him with In His Shadow. Newcomer Gabriella Balcom weaves a poetic tale of fantasy with Mordred the Magnificent and Melina the Marvelous, while Copper Rose gets Skunked. Tom Fowler tickles our Sci–Fi bone with Mr. Smith, and Walter Esselman introduces us to Rocco Mathias in But the Chicken. Michael A Arnold is back with a visually intriguing poem named Scyld and Chris Bice entices us with The Dungeon Master, which I am sure will get Myth Master's attention! David K Montoya adds another installment to Through the Eyes of Madness! Speaking of Dave, he tries his hand at something other than action and creates a wonderfully imaginative fantasy story perfect for a bedtime tale! Also, newcomer Dawn De Braal takes us on a horrific journey in Wrecked. Pryce–less reviews another video game titled, ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove!, and the ever lovely, although slightly furry Luna Lupine is back with a great book review! I have missed her, even if she does leave hair on my couch! Past Managing Editor of the magazine, Mike Lutz regales us with a blog about Chernobyl Pizza which is also our Featured Article this month and a heart wrenching poem called Whiskey Kiss. Mark Kodama is back with another amazing Greek tale Medusa, and the next installment in his epic poem The Prince of Mexico City. DC Diamondopolous treats us to an incredible tale titled The Creep Factor and last but not least is my next installment in "The Chosen" series, Ren Daul. We have tons of great art from all around the world this month too! First off, Ed Bickford hits us with a great piece called, Build Him Stronger. Then, Boryana Ananieva is back to give us New Again , and Dan Hammond shares his interpretation of Goldilocks and the Three Bears . HOW TO DRAW COMICS founder, Clayton Barton introduces us to his My New Friend , and David K. Montoya joins Autism Awareness which made the cover this month! I do promise to do them all justice in the podcast, so give it a listen on Monday! Congratulations to Molly Hamilton for winning Member of the Month last month. Sorry again for the mix up.
