Welcome, everyone, to the February, 2018 issue of "The World of Myth." We have a lot of new stories, poetry, art and features for you this month. To start everything off, author Jodi Perkins gives us another peek at her writing skills with, "Little Blue Ball," and she also consented to be interviewed this month by our own, Myth Master! Alan Russo returns with a new (and very funny) short story for our humor selection, "Take on Me," while part two of chapter one for "Through the Eyes of Madness" is presented, by yours truly. I also, offer up to all of you, a longer short story about life, love and the future of mankind called "Alis." In the horror section, brand new contributor to the magazine, Talia Haven, brings to us a fantastic piece of fiction that may surprise you in part one of, "Human Scooping Morning." Kevin Adams offers up a 'shortshort' about creation as it happens in the "Artist," Mr. Adams also garnered last month's Member of the Month honors with his flash fiction "Rain." Congratulations on a job well done! In the Poetry Corner, Rebecca Ilich returns with a new piece of poetry after five years! Randolph R. Lofgren and Kevin Magnus return with new poems. Our Managing Editor, Mike Lutz, gives it a go with poetry will a thought provoking piece titled, "Shards." Also, brand new to the magazine is Brittany Zedalis with her powerful poem called, "Mon Chéri." The Art Gallery hosts work by Rebecca Ilich, Nazly and myself this month, as well as a new member to the Gallery, (as an artist that is) Jodi Perkins. Speaking of Mrs. Perkins, in our new Book Review section, we offer a review of her book, "Chasing Echoes," and in our Movie Reviews, Samantha Van Zetten makes a come back, to aid Jason Bechard in going over a few flicks this month. Also in this issue, you will find Tim Copeland and his dissection of WWE's RAW 25th anniversary program. Plus, Xilera as she shares her thought on the upandcoming video game, "Wargroove," and I not only ramble about writing in this month's Commentary, but I serve up an art review on my favorite pop artist, Roy Lichtenstein and his artwork that caused a lot of buzz back in the 1960s, simply called "Masterpiece." In closing, I'm sure you noted that Mike isn't doing the introduction this time around, he and his family had a sad loss and I would like to extend my sincere condolences. Mike, should be back next month for the introduction piece of the magazine. All right kids, we have a full plate for you to digest this month, so sit back, relax and take your time, and oh yeah, and don't forget to ENJOY! David K. Montoya
