Oddly enough, my brother never said a word to me about the incident when we got home from school. He was pretending that it never happened. Perhaps he realized that it was hopeless to try and outdo me this April Fools day. Any stunt he tried to pull on me tomorrow would look lame in comparison to what Id done. He probably wouldnt even try. I later realized that this is exactly what he wanted me to think.
Upon waking the next morning, I was greeted in the dim morning light by the horrible looking, fanged face of Count Dracula himself. His arms were outstretched, revealing the black and red cape flowing behind him like a plague of bats. Terrified, I fainted and fell back onto the bed.
I found out later that my little brother had dressed up in last years Halloween costume. Imagine my horror. My two worst fears had come to pass at the same time. My little brother will never let me live it down!
