Last Call for Sickness First Shot for Disease.
By: ‘The Gurl of Myth’ Rebecca C. Lofgren
I contemplated the day that I left this place,
Alone and cold I wondered, I was left without a face.
And when I cried and called to you, you never came to bear;
That simple grace and loving caress, I guess you just don't care.
I've seen nothing and gone nowhere unless I was with you,
I stand here now in loneliness, starved of love that’s due.
I hate to see the truth that lies beyond the gate,
I have to face my own dark thoughts and leave them as my fate.
Instead of this sad song I sing I'd rather play the part,
Just walk away and don't look back, I never had much of a heart.
