Be well come again to another issue of "The World of Myth." Even though
we were a little late coming to you this month, we have a lot to share
with you, including more new contributors, so let's get to it.
To start it all off, Adam Janus returns with Part Two of his fantasy,
"The Battle of Dread Valley." And it appears that quite a few readers
enjoyed Part One of this story, as Adam was voted Member of the Month
last issue. Congratulations! It's not often that a new contributor is
voted MOM with their first effort. Nice work.
Also in the Fantasy Section, "Queen of the Westerlands" has Part 8
available. In Horror, Kevin Adams offers up a short tale which looks at
death from a whole different point of view, and new contributor Samuel
Hayne shares Part One of his unusual story, "Faro's Ring," while David K.
Montoya gives us another installment of "The End," Part Two.
In the poetry corner, Jeff R. Young returns with a new poem and L.M.
Mercer also offers up a new piece. Ellen Lynch is a new poetry
contributor this month and Steve Bolin shares another (somewhat
different) side of himself with our readers. Kevin Magnus offers a new
poem, and this may be the last contribution from Rebecca 'Gurl of Myth'
Lofgren for a while. She is heading off to college and film school in
August, so may be too busy to share any of her spare time with us--you
know how it is. Let's all give Rebecca a big hand and an even bigger
"Thank You" for everything she has contributed to our little mag over the
past two years. Bye, bye, Becca. Have fun and good luck!
All right, then. In the Art Gallery, Jessica Rinaldo, Allen J. Speakman,
David K. Montoya and last but not least, Rebecca Lofgren all share new
art work with us.
Balcony Betty does a solo review this issue (Grim and Reaper were out
getting 'something' waxed), but she can handle it. Our Book review this
month is "Coriander" by Sara Banks and our interview is with author Tyler
Tichelaar.
