Halloween Moon

     Halloween moon
     High in the night sky
     Between silver clouds
     A huge bloodshot eye
     
     Who live underground
     Lured by the moonlight
     Crawl out from dark places
     To spawn dread and fright
     
     Sniffing the night air
     Hunger for flesh grows
     Red eyes gleam in blackness
     Wind carries the howls
     
     Stay in your home
     Lock the door tight
     Draw all the curtains
     Turn off all the light
     
     But don't think you're safe
     And can close your eyes
     Don't fall asleep
     Stay up the whole night
     
     Cause the moon wakes the kind
     Hidden deep in your mind
     That will roam through your dreams
     Nightmares ending with screams
