The Ten Pin Tornadoes
The last pin has been picked up
each bowling ball put in its rack.
Every customer has gone home
time to practice bowling is back.
Known as "The Ten Pin Tornadoes"
we're the work's tournament aces
but when the working day is done
we must practice to keep our places.
We put on our team shirts, bright red
as we polish our balls to a high gloss.
Nothing icky or sticky's able to impede
how true our bowling line is, of course.
Two strikes in a row's a Barney Rubble
turkey means three strikes, that's rare.
Then the hardest is a badger, that's four,
while what you try to avoid is a spare.
Our boss doesn't know what we're doing
and so far, we've been doing pretty well.
Should he find out about it in the future,
he might well hear a collective, "Go to hell."
