Nothing scares me
It really does
It buries its seeds of fear
No friends or family
No love or care
Nobody left that I hold dear
No safe haven remaining
Everything gone
Nowhere left to hide
The nothing comes creeping
Day and night
It eats at me from the inside
The overconfident, the angry
Those with no love for others
A complete lack of empathy
These are the ones
Those without love
Their nothing chills me
The void that follows after life
What follows next after our blip of a life is done
Yeah… Nothing truly frightens me…
That, and the Myth Master
Because, let's face it
That dude is scary
So I guess what truly terrifies me…
Being alone
Meeting the Myth Master
People who seem to have all their ducks in a row
People who are aggressive and way too confident
The end… And the unknown of what comes after
There is so much nothing
Every day I seek the courage
The energy to keep going
To be there for those who are there for me
Because if I fail to do that
Then there truly is no knowing
A future spiraling
Toward the day when all is gone
The brave say what will be will be
But the one thing I know for certain
Is nothing
And that truly scares me
