Drift with Circumstance
By: Kevin Magnus

Just go with the flow,
Even when you're low.
Nobody even cares anymore:
A continuing, and endless chore,
Something I would die for,
The cause and nothing more.

There's no real hill left to perish on,
United together until dawn.
Nothing to burn my skin,
Yet, where there's hope to win,
Victory or defeat of the day.
In time, you won't remember it away.
So does it even matter,
Dreams of a child that shatter ?

Just go with the flow.
None left, which you know.
Pride is only in your head,
To stand your ground 'til you're dead.
Causes die every day,
Feed only to the prey.

It's so safe to play along;
Together you are so strong.
A new Pawn to fill a void,
Nothing more than simply toyed.
In the end, it didn't truly matter:
A game where we were served on a platter.

So just go with the flow,
Simply live with your woe.
