Should you ever choose to walk up the hill
Paved with nuggets of truth,
You run the risk of being overwhelmed by the view
Thus presented.
For this hill looks not
At the same sort of view as all the others.
Perhaps you think
That the view is upside down.
May chance, you may take it for the inversion of your reality.
And you wouldn't be far away from the truth in your assessment,
O Wanderer.
For indeed, the truth is quite different from that what you call reality.
It may be quite dizzying to ascend even a little
Up the path of the slope of this particular hill,
For truth changes your perception.
Rest a while, and reflect on what is true for you,
And what is true for the cosmos.
Forget not what conveniently
Becomes the truth for those
Seeking material power.
Yet what is material power?
Is not the power to change your inner self, real power?
Therefore, O Wanderer,
As you follow the spiraling path of the hill of truth
Go forward with short and easy steps.
Take a moment to Reflect,
Look back,
Think upon the way that you really want to go on,
The way that you really want to see, to feel,
Till you arrive at a place
In your innermost self
Where you find
That you feel at one
With the oneness of the truth
With the oneness of the universe.
