I laughed at your lying; refused to believe what could not possibly be true. I happily took the red pill from your hand and swallowed it, defiantly staring you in the eyes. One gulp, no hesitation and it was gone. Friends, family, life, vanished as suddenly as those endorphins flooded my brain. The effect was immediate, I discovered nothing from my world was real.
I thought that everything you said was madness, but now your delusion is my reality. All my hopes and dreams, my shield against the cold harsh truth, all of it simply vanished in that one instant.
Now I beg, and plead, wanting to escape a future I never believed I would have to be a part of. Please, ask again which reality I want to swallow. Ask me again if I would rather take the red pill or the blue. I'll tell you straight up, I do not want to swallow either.
