Commentary from the Founder

Hey gang! So, over the past several months, Dark Myth Publications has been working through a significant disruption involving a third party vendor. As many of you know, our publishing account was locked, and we remain unable to access the original platform. This has affected distribution and limited our ability to manage certain titles directly.

However, I am pleased to share that we have identified an alternative publishing avenue. Through this new channel, we are once again able to move forward with releasing books. While the situation with the original account is still unresolved, this solution allows us to maintain momentum and continue serving our authors and readers.

During this transition, I respectfully ask that all Dark Myth titles be purchased through Myth Mart. Doing so guarantees accurate royalty tracking and provides the most direct support to both our authors and the company. Until access to the original account is restored, Myth Mart is the most reliable purchasing outlet for our catalog.

Dark Myth Comics is also in a strong position. We are wrapping up a successful Kickstarter campaign for Ayot Nom: Cost of Return, which demonstrated continued support for our comic line. In addition, we have announced that Dark Myth Graphic Novel issue #2 is officially moving forward. Production planning is underway, and we look forward to sharing more details soon.

There are also leadership updates within the comics division. As Mario prepares to step down from his role as Editor in Chief of Dark Myth Comics, I will be assuming that position once it is vacated. After careful consideration, I have decided not to appoint a successor at this time. This adjustment will allow for streamlined decision making and closer alignment between publishing and comics operations.

It is important to clarify that Dark Myth Publications continues under the editorial leadership of Stephanie J. Bardy as Editor in Chief. Her role remains unchanged, and her continued work with our authors is appreciated and valued. Our management structure is leaner than in previous years, but it remains active and engaged.

At the JayZoModcast Network, there are no new initiatives launching at this time. Our current slate of programming continues as scheduled, and we encourage listeners to support and share the shows that are currently in production.

The Open Contract Challenge will begin next month, and we will once again host a Speed Edition alongside the main contest. With the Deputy Director position currently vacant, I will be temporarily assuming those responsibilities to ensure a smooth transition and continued execution of the program. We look forward to reviewing this year's submissions and engaging with new talent.

As many of you have observed, our management structure has evolved. I have always believed that leadership means stepping into roles when needed, and this year that principle is being put into practice. In addition to serving as CEO, I will also be acting as Publisher of Dark Myth Publications, Editor in Chief of Dark Myth Comics upon transition, Producer of the JayZoModcast Network, and Deputy Director of the Open Contract Challenge.

At this time, I do not intend to expand management further. Our focus is on stability, efficiency, and delivering on the commitments already in motion. Rather than pursuing additional leadership hires, we are concentrating on strengthening the systems and people currently in place.

This is a year of consolidation and focus for productions.

We are committed to:

Publishing through our new distribution avenue Driving direct support through Myth Mart Delivering scheduled comic releases

We appreciate the continued patience and support from our authors, artists, listeners, and readers. This company has always adapted when necessary, and this moment is no different. Our mission remains the same: to publish meaningful stories, support creative voices, and build long term sustainability across all divisions.

Thank you for standing with us as we move forward.

With respect to you all!
