Far beyond the nebulous ether, hidden from our short-sighted view and narrow-minded opinions, there can be found a world that's glows with a pearly light, benign, soothing, and matriarchal. This idyll is ruled by a fair and generous Queen, who tries to relate to everyone.
This is a typical day at court, as she is trying to mediate. "I take your point; I know you think it is a sensible one, but might I ask you to please lower your voice? You gnomes say you cannot believe in flower fairies, but for some of us, we do not have that privilege.
In children's books, throughout time, we see pretty flower fairies, with gossamer wings, while the fairies that we know have sharpened teeth are known for magical mayhem, and many wicked ploys. The other persona is a ruse, clever propaganda, so that they can continue to trade with elves
A child's wish garnered is worth an ounce of elven gold but how this wealth is accrued they keep to themselves. Talk to me not of fairy tales, a darker path by far. it has been known of by pixies and goblins of days gone by. As we would rather that none believe they exist, we'll keep the status quo intact, let them have the gold."
