The Fear of Forgetting
By: Kevin Magnus
My biggest fear is to be forgotten after I am dead,
With all the works I have created to remain unread.
And causing my complete existence to be all in vain,
Because no one would ever know my tales of woe and pain.
That single thought, it frightens me more than the event of dying,
Not fulfilling my life’s goal—after all these years trying.
Even if you do not find my heartfelt writings so clever,
Just remember, by reading this—I will live forever!.
