There once was a dark, stormy knight
staring death in the eye at midnight
as the dragon charged on
then abruptly, was gone.
Solemn darkness absorbed the train's light.

There once was a dark, stormy knight
on his steed, guarding roads at midnight,
fending dragon's attack …
The two trainmen looked back,
not believing what passed by their sight.
