Time
By: Christopher Bice

Time, an indefinite measurement
Or finite solution
Encompassing all things
Past, present, and future
Traveling through it
Beyond light speed
Theoretically reverses it
Pausing time
Turning back time
Saving time in a bottle
If time could be held
What could we see
History repeating itself
For eternity
A time capsule
Hidden in a wall
Its time has come
To reveal their truths
Old pictures, newspapers
Local landmarks
Long since gone
All telling stories
Of a world gone wrong
Flu killing millions
Famine and drought
Homeless nations
Out of work
Time for a war
Time to thin the herd
Is there time to rebuild
Time to rebirth a world
No time for love
But plenty for hate
A time to live
Or a time to die
Time to see
How loops really work
No time for old men
No time to dally
Look over there
A new loop begins
Time to prepare.
It's time to remember
Our history
The horsemen ride
Conquests, invasions
Wars throughout time
Plagues and pandemics
Famine and death
Nations with steel sentinels
Glinting in the sun
Waiting to fly
To burn the skies
Who will uncork time
Time to start over again
Time, an indefinite measurement.
