Secretary’s Report – Presents Augusts Minutes and they are approved.

Business arising from the minutes – Written minutes are edited. Certain aspects of the meetings are redacted, for the privacy of others.

Leadership Reports – Walter gives the report. There was almost a whole team except Henry and Steph. Both were absent due to illness. Walter gave a run down of what was going on so that everyone was on the same page. Walter and Jai still haven’t had a chance to get together. Walter has home obligations that are preventing that. Dark Myth Publications, Unwelcomed is ready to print, Through the Eyes of Madness is coming out in December, the magazine had lots of Halloween stuff. Gabriella Balcom’s book is coming out. Steph is working on advertising, and PCE is being worked on. All across the board we are doing alright for Myth Mart. We talked about the boxes again. Walter put in a massive order for his books. Talked about doing a box for comics. The question for Dave was how much of the boxes are American made. Put a brand on it. No update from Dark Myth Comics. Since Dave has been in the hospital, nothing has happened with the comics. Jayzomodcast is down a little since My Public Life as an American Nerd went on hiatus. Talked about ways to make money since PCE is now cancelled, and what to do with the grand prize winners. Steph says she is going to physically have a meeting with Gary because there has been enough talking about the boxes it’s time to get down to business. The price is a subscription fee. A month, 3 months, 6 months, a year. Dave thinks it is unwise to have multiple themes for our first run and stick to a loot crate general idea. We can specialize for holidays; Steph puts forth a vote (amid traffic kerfuffle’s) that the first year be generic boxes before we start adding more product and

themes. Dave seconds that. Vote is approved. Simplistic is the best because of inflation. Keeping costs down, keeps the price down. Dave wants to sit down and talk with Gary about Myth Mart. Postage is insane and it is killing our sales on Myth Mart.

The main foundation of the company is the magazine The World of Myth. It is a product we can build upwards from. The Magazine, Publications and JayZoModcast. We have had a rough year, but it is to be expected. The global market has had a bad year.

Dave is still learning to be a single father, with less income.

Dave has slowed the comic production due to finances.

Advertising – No report

Old Business - Dave is going to do a duel meeting with the Leadership Board and the Board of Directors. To discuss the future of the company and the direction we are taking.

Walter wants to start talking about it now, the direction, what our focus is.

Nolan has declined to be Chief Business Officer due to his family life and new baby.

Walter is curious about Gary, and Dave confirms that he will be coming in as CFO. Walter wonders how much we are putting into Myth Mart versus what we are getting out. Dave says that is what he wants to talk to Gary about and feels that we should utilize Amazon as much as we can. Steph jumps in and reminds people that Myth Mart is still new and won’t start making a profit for the first 5 years.

Next meeting: Walter wants to know what we are going to do with the Grand Prize winners for the OCC since PCE is no more. Jai Bailey who is the new OCC Director, had an idea of sending the Grand Prize winners to a convention in their home state. Walter is working on what conventions would be the best for each winner. Walter suggest we pay for her table and her hotel room, or as an alternative, Walter is going to The Great Lakes Comiccon in February and suggests we fly her into Detroit and take her to the convention with him.

Dave is concerned on the cost because it was PCE that was picking up the cost. PCE sponsored that portion of the prize, now that PCE isn’t happening those funds are no longer available.

Gift cards will be going out this week.

Kevin suggests that we do promoting on our websites and such, but Walter points out that we already do that. Kevin suggests we find something that has value to the writer, Walter suggests an additional contract.

Dave jumps in to let them know that one of the things we do is give the author about 10 books to sell, and they keep all the profit. Dave likes the idea of sending them to the closest con to them, the only thing that he is concerned about is the cost of hotel and flight.

Dave bring up the issue of Clif stalling the signing. It is dragging out the amount of time for promotion and to allow the second place winner their time to shine as well. Walter also wants to put in that the contract for the winners is NON-NEGOTIONABLE. The prize is the prize, you can’t tailor make it to suit what you want.

Steph fills everyone in on her idea’s for Live Events going forward. She will be setting up a meeting with Vincent May to discuss doing smaller events like pop up events, and possibly being a vendor at other events.

Live Events was closed because there was to much competition popping up in the area for us to be able to successfully fill a venue with vendors and guests.

A proposal is set forth to have everyone, old and new, sign a Non-Disclosure, and a Non-Compete clause.

Kevin takes responsibility for not letting Dave know that there are podcasts waiting and will endeavor to let him know going forward.

Walter wants to move into a more serious direction with the interview podcasts to let our guests talk about their work to the fullest.

Dave updates everyone on the sign off agreement and how well it is working.
