When Dreams Come True

Jack looked at his wife through the window of their bedroom on the second floor of the house. He opened the window and said, "Honey, stop floating in the air like that. You're going to give me a heart attack." She vanished.
He turned and faced their bed; she was there, sleeping peacefully. He knew it was a dream, for his wife just died. He laid down beside her and in his dream he saw himself closing his eyes and sleeping once again.
Sometime that night, he was awakened by something cold on his cheeks. It was his wife, caressing his face. He smiled at her and thought it was another dream. He pulled her close and felt something strange. She was cold, hard, and felt so very dead. Just then his phone rang. He snatched it back from the nightstand, his wife still in his arms. "Hello?" He said. "Mr. Norton, this is an emergency. Your wife's body was missing from the morgue." "What?" he bolted up as goosebumps tingled all over his body. He pinched his arm. This wasn't a dream. As realization dawned on him, he screamed. There still lying by his side, was his wife's corpse.
