Katie smirked. Claiming she had a flat and needed a ride hadn't worked. Saying she was lonely and flirting suggestively hadn't either. The man she'd chosen as her target had ignored her, focusing on his beer instead, and that's what gave her the idea.

She invited him home to share her gourmet, European liquors. She didn't really have any, but… Once there, he accepted whiskey readily enough, and she magically transformed it into acid as he drank. Killing him was all too easy, and he died in agony.

Since alcohol worked, Katie planned to use it in the future, too.
