Tanzi
By: Gabriella Balcom

"Whee!" Tanzi yelled. Fluttering her gossamer wings, the fairy flew through the forest. Stunning trees attired in brilliant shades of red, yellow, orange, and purple surrounded her, and she stopped in midair to twirl round and round, watching them flash by.

Tanzi had always loved autumn, and she'd longed for its arrival for months.

Leaves rustled nearby, some drifting toward the ground. She zipped around them, sending them swirling, and giggled when a wind gust lifted her hair.

Laughter filled the air as dozens of Tanzi's friends joined her, swooping this and that, and having the time of their lives.

The end.
