Christmas Eve and I've put your present
Under the Christmas tree
It's just a little something
Given to you, with love, from me
So many years together
Just you and me
This year is special
It's our anniversary
Thinking about our life
All the joy and tears we shared
But honey I must tell you
I'm just a little scared
It's twenty years now
On this very day
That a drunk driver
Stole my love away
Am I going senile
Buying your favorite perfume
But whenever I'm missing you
I spritz some in each room
But don't you worry
There's only one gift under our tree
The biggest gift you've ever given
Was day you married me
But now I'm so frail and old
And I need to go to bed
I'll spritz some perfume
On your pillow beside my head
Tomorrow is Christmas
God promised a gift to me
Saying we'd be together
For all eternity.
