It only took a moment for her to take in this grisly sight and then Hailie passed out.

"Hailie. Hailie, wake up, dear," she faintly heard a voice say.

"Oh, thank goodness, it was only a dream," she thought as she opened her eyes. There was a man standing over her with a syringe in his hand. "What...what's going on? Where am I?" she asked, suddenly frightened.

"Don't you remember, dear?" the man answered with a sad smile. "You're in the state asylum. You've been here ever since you killed eight people, including your father, right before Halloween."
